Friday January 16 a photo exhibition of eight artists opened in the Culture House (Casa de Arte) Sosúa.
The artists are from Santiago and Santo Domingo, and with their colorful artworks they give their vision of jazz performances in the country.
Hence the title: Mirades musicales (Music vieuws).
They are artists from Santo Domingo: Alejandro González, Iván Méndez, Javier Celado, Jeffrey Rodríguez and Roger Zayas; from Santiago Fausto Ortíz, Félix Sepúlveda and Paco Salguero.
The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the French Alliance of Santiago (La Alianza Francesa de Santiago).
Miradas Musicales
The exhibition was opened with speeches by Mayor Ilana Neumann, the director of Casa de Arte, Adolfo Faringthon and Cyril Anis, CEO La Alianza Francesa de Santiago.
The visiting art lovers were treated to a white wine and a guest appearance by the musician Alex Jacq Duvieux.
The photo exhibition of these remarkable artists is open every day (closed Sunday) in the coming weeks from 9 to 5 at Casa de Arte in Sosúa (free entrance).
