Last Thursday, about 10 o'clock in the evening the fire brigade from Charamicos was called in to extinguish a fire in the branch of Banco Popular in Sosúa.
Fortunately, the fire was discovered by passers by early and they were so alert to immediately call the fire department.

The smoke detecting alarm system didn't react as it was out of order.
Because of this, there arose more damage than necessary.
Fire specialists will examine the coming days what the exact cause of the fire and refusing of the smoke detecting system was.
