Normally we always announce it in advance as Tilo leaves on holiday to his homeland Germany. On the evening before he leaves there is always a farewell buffet and then Restaurant Orchidee will be closed for about six weeks. This year Tilo surprised us, last Friday night was the farewell buffet because Tilo had to leave for Germany unexpectedly for family reasons. He will stay away a little longer this time, but we hope to see him again soon. There is nothing else to do as to wait until he gets back before we can go to his restaurant again.
