Friday September 25 starts the Merengue festival at the Malecón of Puerto Plata.
Throughout the weekend, a range of famous salsa, merengue and reggaeton artists will perform on a big stage.
Artists like Héctor Acosta - El Torito, Chiquito Team Band, Víctor Waill, Sexappeal, Davicito Kada and Fernando Villalona.

The festival is free accessible to the public and there will be thousands of Dominicans present to enjoy the festival.
The stage where the bands play is right in front of the Tropical Bar of Belgian Mik and his Dominican wife Orquidea.
