Since August of this year, the Midtown Bar / Restaurant has a new owner.
It is Matthew Pellegrino from Boston, USA.
Matthew, 53 years old and still single, has spent every holiday for the past nine years in the Dominican Republic.
In Boston he led a painting company and worked in the catering industry.
That was a hectic lives and a more relaxed life in Sosúa ogled.
He is now the new owner of the Midtown Bar / Restaurant which is located at the Don Antonio hotel.
Currently, the entrance to the restaurant is being changed so that the restaurant is better accessible from the street.
It is a beautiful and cozy restaurant with a long bar.
There are a selection of chicken, fish, pork and beef dishes on the menu with some specials like "Camarones A La Diabla" (shrimp in spicy sauce).
Among the guests, the amazing Great Burgers are more than appreciated.
Midtown Bar Restaurant Sosúa
Late afternoon and early evening it is Happy Hour Time.
During Happy Hour, the guests can enjoy local drinks an cocktails around the pool at special prices.
Guests can also participate in Midtown Daily Dice.
During Midtown Daily Dice you can win a free dinner of choice.
Matthew also plans to contract artists to perform ballads and 70s and 80s tunes to enhance the atmosphere.
Midtown Bar Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:30 AM to midnight.
