Taberna El Conde continues to be, despite Martha and Hans are no longer the familiar faces, a cozy meeting place for many loyal visitors.
The service is friendly and the quality of the food is very good and also very affordable.
It's Nick Ledlie, with 20 years of experience in the restaurant business, who is the new owner.

Nick has ensured that the old and cozy atmosphere is maintained and the famous 'Stammtisch' (regulars' table), where the Swiss, Germans and Austrians like to sit, is a nice example for this.
What also remains is the special weekly menu, which will be announced every week on Sosúa-News.
On Sunday, Nick offers several shrimp dishes at low prices.
For example, a shrimp cocktail for 250 pesos, 375 pesos for Shrimp Alfredo, Shrimp Saganaki for 500 pesos and a Surf & Turf for 600 pesos.
The bar and restaurant is open from 11:30 AM until 11 PM from Monday to Saturday, on Sunday they open at 4 PM.
