Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM, started the solemnly installation of the newly elected council of Sosúa.
The ceremony took place under a covered stand at the City Hall of Sosúa.
The ceremony was accessible for every citizen of the town.
On behalf of the community, Omar Messon (Chairman writers collective) spoke to the mayor and the aldermen.
Municipal government inaugurated
Then the mayor gave a short speech.
In this she thanked the residents of Sosúa that they had given her the confidence once again for a new period of four years.
She promised to commit herself with all her capabilities to the development and prosperity of Sosúa.
Then the councilors took the floor.
The installed councilors are Vice Mayor Gerardo Céspedes and the aldermen Arismendi Medina, Aquilina Medina, Radhames Guzmán Balbuena, Oscar Luis Gómez, Yinette Vallejo Martínez, Lilian Ceballos and Fabio García.
At 11 am the ceremony ended with a word of thanks by Omar Messon.
