President Danilo Medina donates a school bus
Sunday, September 11, President Danilo Medina made an unannounced visit to Sosúa. After talking with the mayor Ilana Neumann and the entire council at her house the company went to the town hall. Here the president offered the town of Sosúa a school bus. A school bus which will provide students studying at three universities in Puerto Plata free transport. In a rush, they had called upon a delegation of students to receive the awarded school bus.

The students applauded and cheered loud when Mayor Ilana Neumann signed the ownership papers.
The president said that he had ordered his officials to study the problems discussed about a public hospital, water supply, asphalting of roads and reorganization of the beach.
The officials have to come up with a plan of action to address these problems adequately.
