Call on the mayor
From everywhere calls have been made on mayor Ilana Neumann to do something about the mess in the main Street Pedro Clisante. Businessmen, tourists and Dominicans think the mess in front of the Rumba Bar and Latin Bar is no advertising for Sosúa. It looks like Aleppo is the opinion of many visitors, if there has exploded a bomb. Of course, the mayor is very busy at the moment helping those affected by the many downpours.

Now the weather is a little better, so there may be some attention for this mess in the heart of the tourist town of Sosua.
A town so dependent on tourism can surely not afford to leave its main entertainment street in such a deplorable state?
The high season has begun, the hotels are full, so the rest of Sosúa should also be ready to welcome the tourists.
With this mess in the Pedro Clisante the tourist doesn't feel very welcome.
