We wrote about it before that many foreign aid organizations have offered help and relief for those affected by the water floods.
Among others the Dream Project, 'Help Sosúa Kids go to school', Samaritan Foundation, Foundation Colour4kids, restaurant Parada Tipica El Choco and many foreigners who have donated.
As an example of this spontaneous help offered, we met three Dutch guys.
They stay in Hotel Don Andres.
They are Herman Kool, Guido and Erik van Middendorp.
They also help out for the foundation Colour4kids.
They came into contact with a family of which the floor of their house was washed away partially.

The old father who lived in the house found a three feet hole in his house.
The walls were also heavily affected.
The three men went straight to work.
Demolished the lot and a installed a new floor and walls.
They did a great job, so no moisture problems will occur anymore.
It was three days of hard work, but with some bags of cement, sand and blocks they managed.
Obviously there is much more help needed for those thousands of victims and this is just a drop in the ocean.
But anyway, the three Dutch guys helped the old father and he was very grateful for this help.
