Mayor starts to repair the roads
For some days now we have beautiful sunny weather. That is of course nice for the tourists visiting Sosúa. But it gives the municipal department of Public Works also an opportunity to fix the holes in the roads. Many of the roads in and around of Sosúa are still full of deep holes. Due to the heavy rains of recent months parts of the roads have been washed away by the swirling water masses. Holes 10 to 30 cm deep are no exception.

You have to be very careful driving your motorbike or scooter but driving a car also needs a lot of attention. Especially the byways of the main road Pedro Clisante are full of holes. The part of the passageway to Cabarete, opposite the Texaco petrol station at the buses and taxi stand, is completely ruined. But mayor Ilana Neumann has ordered to buy asphalt and repair the roads in El Batey and surrounding neighborhoods with great urgency.
