Thursday evening May 25th, was the Grand opening of high Caribbean disco.
The management, Mark, Peter and Ad had done everything they could to make this a perfect start.
The staff was friendly and well-trained and everyone was dressed in company clothes.
Around the dance floor, raised above it, there are several tables with bar stools from where you have a good view of the dance floor.
On the corners of the dance floor there are some elevated platforms, a kind of cages, in which dancers regularly give a dance show.
Every now and then the dancers disappear in a cloud of white (carbonated) smoke.
This now than interchanged with a snow breeze.
There were a lot of visitors, curious of course, showing up at this opening.
High Caribbean
It is now low season, so there are few tourists in Sosúa.
In July and August it will be more busy.
But the management was very pleased with the interest.
After having been closed for ten years, High Caribbean Nightclub has finally been restored to its old glory.
Sosúa's nightlife has expanded a bit more.
