From early November, the management of the bar and restaurant of Don Andres has been handed over to Tilo Frister.
Tilo was formerly the manager of Orchidee Restaurant.
The bar and kitchen staff also went on to Tilo.
Henri of Don Andres will henceforth primarily be engaged in the rental of the rooms and apartments at the hotel.
The restaurant's menu is now updated and expanded.
Orchidee restaurant was known for its seafood, steak, schnitzel and Gyros dishes.
These still are on the menu.
But the many of the Don Andres specialties remain too.
So, loyal customers can still enjoy the fried rice, noodles, satay dishes and Dutch croquettes.
Tilo also offers several daily specials.
These daily specials are written on a large black board that is presented by the staff to the guests.

The daily specials on the blackboard are updated every day and are available when still in stock.
You sometimes see Tilo walk to the board to erase a dish.
Then the dish so popular that it is sold out.
In the coming weeks Tilo plans to do the traditional BBQ with live music too.
Also with Christmas and New Year, there will be special activities.
The New Year reception will be as before too with the special Dutch donuts.
The restaurant and bar managed by Tilo offers the same atmosphere as before with the same staff so the regular customers will feel at home as before.
But what does change is the menu.
Guests now can choose from typical German and Dutch dishes.
