In the cultural center of Sosua (Casa de Arte), started a course 'working with audiovisual equipment' recently.
The course is made possible by the organization Infotep and is headed by Professor Rafelito Alvarez.
The students are marketing and computer science students and journalists from the Sosúa area.
The students learn how to deal with technical audio and video equipment.
Practicing interview techniques and camera techniques.
The course ends with their own production produced by the students in groups of five.
These are short films, interviews or documentaries.
Audiovisual education in Casa de Arte
The course lasts for 10 weeks and takes place every Tuesday from 6 to 10 PM and every Saturday morning from 9 until 12.
If the course is completed with good results, the students receive a certificate.
