In may the important basketball tournament for the province Puerto Plata, 'Torneo De Baloncesto Superior' takes place again.
Sosúa Sharks
At this tournament, which is held in Puerto Plata, teams from almost every city of the province participate.
To the delight of sports fans, Sosúa Sharks from Sosua won this prestigious tournament last year.
They won this tournament in 2015 too.
But since some of the regular players left for professional teams in Santo Domingo and Santiago they are looking for new talent.
On Monday February 12 in the sports center in Charamicos, aspirant players get the chance to show if they qualify for the Sosúa Sharks team.
They really need reinforcement because they want to win the trophy again this year.
